Your child earns stars for the things they do around the house, then spends them in a shop you stocked yourself. No pocket money app. No points that mean nothing.
Being built in the open. Nothing to install yet.
You set it up once. After that the day repeats on its own and you only step in when something needs your judgement.
Give it a name, a number of stars and when it should happen — every day, certain weekdays, or one date. Decide whether you want to check it or simply trust it.
On their own device they see just today's list. They tap I did it. Trusted tasks pay out immediately; checked ones wait for you.
You stock the shop — film night, a trip to the pool, whatever works in your house. They save up and ask. You hand it over and mark it given.
The same family, shown the way each person needs to see it.
Some of these are the whole reason the app exists.
No email, no password, no sign-up. A parent shows a code on their phone, the child enters it once, and the two devices are linked.
There are no penalties and no fines. A missed task is simply a task that wasn't done — it never costs a child something they already earned.
Making a bed probably doesn't need your approval. Homework might. Each task carries its own answer, so you're not reviewing everything.
A child can finish a task on a bus with no connection. It's saved on the device and syncs later — and the stars arrive once it does.
Built for a child with a phone or tablet of their own, rather than passing a parent's phone across the table.
English, French, Georgian and Russian — with more to follow rather than being bolted on later.
Honest answer: early. The thinking is finished and the server foundation is built and tested. The app itself hasn't been written.
